Personally, I don't mind dressing up..
I'm all into good suits and ties. I collect cufflinks. I only wear french cuff shirts to Church (except when I visit my "con" friends and I have to pull a regular button white shirt from the back of the closet)

I'd feel weird going to church in jeans...BUT if that is what someone else is comfortable in, then fine.

When it comes to youth, I say let them wear their jeans, have lights and loud music, at their Youth service....to me it's a generational thing, not holiness issues.

From what I heard the Pastor say on the video of the Lanny Wolfe concert, Lanny Wolfe was "cutting edge" even for AG's back in the 70's. Some considered him 'edgy' lol.

Thank you gentleman for the illuminating conversation about Jeremy Foster and "Stepping"!!

If I may ask, who is Dora, and what was the problem there?

I believe that these men should be able to have a vote and go to the service, but with this extra expense I don't see how they can.

Are we becoming a rich man org.?
18 and under are free. Start at 100 unless you have adult children.

Turns out that the voice behind "Dora the Explorer"(very popular cartoon) is Apostolic!
At Youth Congress there was a session where they interviewed "interesting Apostolic youths"....she was one of them.

Some people were offended that the UPC would promote her, when she is a TV star and then some photos of her surfaced at different award shows, wearing sleevless dresses....that drove people crazy...

Poor girl, trying to live for God and all these people tearing her down...criticzing her...it's sad.

Sleeveless dress my foot, she was half naked.

My sinner relative don't dress like that.

She is not a role model.

She is not a role model.

She's a young girl, trying to live for God.
Leave her alone.

A young person shouldn't be put under the pressure of being a role model.

I have a 14 year old daughter who is very talented, at 12 she sang at the music conf. put on by TBC. She head up our praise singer and has taught all the part for a combined choir between our church and our neighbor. She dresses holy and godly.

There is no excuse for the way this woman dressed.
