If it's been more than three weeks since his surgery, take him in to make sure he doesn't have a hematoma. He shouldn't be in excruciating pain any longer.
No - he had his surgery Thursday, the 28th. He and Renda were under at the same time.

I will tell him that you have come through this okay. Right now, in the state of mind that he is in, he is afraid that he is going to always hurt. I keep trying to reassure him that it will eventually be worth it. He told me Thursday night and Friday that he wished he had never done it, but I know that comes out of so many people's mouths right after surgery. The pain was so intense yesterday that he was begging God to let him die.
I know someone who prayed, "Lord, please heal me or kill me, but this is too much!"
I am sorry to hear all he is going through.
Still praying for a full, complete, & quick recovery with no complications!

Thanks Ron! That is exactly how he felt Sunday when it was so bad. I've never seen him like that. He has a pretty strong pain tolerance but that day it was unbearable. Much, much better today. I think he slept pretty much through the night last night so that was a major improvement. I have talked to him a couple of times today and his voice sounded stronger, so I know he must be feeling a little better.
