This morning I woke up feeling even stronger on my leg. I actually walked around a bit holding the walker up and just used my own two legs!! I just thank the Lord things have gone as good as they have!

My dad and his wife are talking excellent care of me and Maggie! During the day I have taken over their bedroom with a king size bed and flat screen. I received so many pretty flower arrangements and she has them all placed in there so I can continue to enjoy them.

Their beds are very tall, so I have to use a step to get up on them, so that's been a bit of a challenge, but has pushed me to use other muscles that have been dormat for a few decades - lol!!!

One of my aunts came to visit me last night and it's just been a very positive time being around my family.

I'm actually sitting in my dad's desk chair typing sideways and my leg is almost at a 90 degree bend - - whoo hoo!

I cannot tell you how much the thoughs and prayers have meant to me and I know it's made the difference in having a very successful surgery and positive recovery. You guys rock!

I'm thrilled that you are doing so well, Renda. I haven't called because I still have a lingering, annoying cough, so I'm staying off the phone for the most part. Don't be offended, I didn't call my sister on her birthday Monday. She is offended and won't talk to me. She can get over it. LOL!

You're making a rapid recovery! Praise the Lord! How long were you in the hospital? And you didn't even have to go to rehab. That's great!

It's good to be back for a bit here and there.....makes me dizzy to sit up and type too long, so I'll just make short visits!

I have done great and I thank the LOrd for that!

I was in the hospital 5 days and could have stayed for 7-10 more in rehab, but chose to go to my dad's instead since they can take care of me. I do exercises they showed me while I was in the hospital and I'm on the constant motion machine at least six hours per day. I'm up to 85 degrees now and will continue working that up until 120 degrees.

When I return home next Monday, I will begin in home therapy for a couple weeks. They will come to make my bedroom a torture chamber......but, I'm glad I have that option instead of having to worry about someone having to come and take me three days a week.

I believe with all my heart it's been my positive outlook and the prayers of all my friends and family that has made this go so smoothly! It's not really been that bad at all.

I believe the worse will be a month of so down the road when I feeling much stronger and still can't get out on my own - - I'll be a bit inpatient, but at least I will have you guys to bug!!!
