My husband gets home, currently, right before dark and we can't get anything done outside.

I love it!!!
Oh I am sure he will be excited that he can now work outside after returning home from a hard days work.

You do know that the "daylight left when hubby gets home" problem was in the process of taking care of itself at the rate of approximately 2 minutes more daylight per day right?

And all that without waking THE REST OF US an hour earlier.
