Uh, little help please....
Please don't think I am backslid, or gone off the deep end, or given over to heresy, but let me ask you a question.
I spent several hours today studying the tabernacle and the typology of it, how the altar represents repentance (dying out to sin), the brazen laver represents baptism, and the Holy of Holies symbol;ized the presence of God, now available to us thru the infilling of the Holy Ghost since the veil was rent while Jesus was on the cross......
when suddenly a thought hit me.
After the altar and the laver, there was the Holy Place containing the menorah, the incense, and the shewbread. So, it was possible to enter the Holy Place without going into the Holy of Holies.
Does this have any relevance to our typology?
