I was posting on another thread and it occurred to me that we sometimes "mix" Scriptures up. Below are two passages (one from 1 Peter, the others, Acts) that are often "mixed" because of their similarities. At the bottom is how these "combined" verses are often quoted (in fact, I think I have done just that!)

1Pe 5:3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

Act 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

"Take heed to yourselves and to the flock, over which the Holy Ghost has made you overseers, but not as lords over God's heritage, to feed the church of God, which He has purchased with His own blood".
Can you think of other examples where Scriptures are sometimes mixed up?
