It's ONE school district in Deerfield, Ill. The book Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes has numerous passages that describe gay sexual encounters in exacting detail, some of them violent.

It my understanding it WAS required reading for college bound students and has now been moved to an optional status.


An article states:

"This same school district has been in hot water before for trying to slip homosexual advocacy into the curriculum under the radar."

Even though its confined it would behoove ALL parents to stay aware of what is going on in their kid's schools. Ask questions. Turn off the TV and have a family night, yes even for the older ones. Get involved.

I got an email from american family association that stated they are having a day of silence in many public schools to promote something about the gay agenda. The public schools in my city weren't listed as being among those who plan to participate. I couldn't help but post a comment about it. I am sure it will be reported as offensive since the gay agenda tends to attack those who oppose its filthy ways.
