It was a bad experiment gone wrong a long time ago, and just never got fixed.
I will be changing the teal background after a little while as well. Teal and Blue don't mix! 
I know how folks hate change, and it would just be too much on most to make both of those changes at once, so I'll wait.  |

the last two are online ones. You chose a color and then chose settings like contrast or traid etc etc
