Scotty,

Many years ago when we had first moved to a town a girl in the church asked my wife to sing at her wedding. My wife went to the rehearsal, etc. As she was leaving she asked what time the wedding was the next day and one of the groomsmen gave her a time.

She didn't realize he was kidding and told her a half hour later than the real start date. My wifes song was one of the first things in the wedding and when we got there the time for her song had passed! She was so embarressed.

We lived there 16 years attending that church and she was never asked to sing in another wedding. LOL!!! I think the brides were afraid she would not show up.

Re: Help..singing in a wedding

All weddings should be held at either a courthouse or on a ship. If they are at the courthouse then the judge is performing the ceremony and will not put his sticky fingers into wedding politics. If it is held at sea, then the captain is doing it and will likewise not interfere in wedding functions.

In BOTH cases, nosy relatives will be left out!

....and you can bring whatever music you want, on a burned CD!

Re: Help..singing in a wedding

My Valentine is good.
My youngest daughter sings at a lot of weddings.
She sang Back At One for my oldest daughter's wedding.
