here in Dallas, there is some group that has covered a U2 song and it is getting play on KLTY the local Christian station.
Its kind of wierd hearing a U2 song on the Christian station.
If you worked in radio you wouldn't be surprised...folks have been trying to bridge that gap with U2 for years! Daughtry's "I'm Coming Home" is another "crossover".
We had a ton of calls and emails this morning, God Is ALREADY working in our midst!! Please cover us in prayer because we are going to tick the devil off!!!!!
It has been in the works for quite a while now...the local Christian radio station came to me and asked me to run the radio side of the station. I accepted! I am responsible for anything played over the airwaves. I choose format, programs, music, on-air talent, and much more. I will also be doing the morning show.The board brought me in last Wednesday, laid hands on me, and asked me to be led by the Holy Ghost in my decisions for the station!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today I had a staff meeting with board members present, and my pastor and a friend of mine who pastors laid hands on, and prayed over the staff.
So....please pray for my station, "Positive Hits/Joy Fm 96.5" and please pray for me for both direction and protection.
I will still continue to do my ministry at the church so I will be tiiiiiiired!!!!
