PS, Admin has never agreed with you on the subject.

War is abominable. It's the scourge of mankind. And it is a judgment of God and a consequence of our fallen nature. If our nation were truly Christian in spirit...she'd not need war to defend her. But she isn't. She's a worldly earthly nation. We are a Heavenly people. We do well to keep a fine line drawn.
Separation is more than a dress code.

Do you realize that if we spent half as much as we've spent on the current conflict on domestic issues, like hunger in America, we could have completely wiped it out in America? Anyway, that's way off the beaten path and a topic for another thread.

I'll let God prove it. There will be a judgment.

Dave...are you Apostolic Pentecostal? Meaning that you believe one must obey Acts 2:38 to be saved?

Alright. Prove in detail and context your point. You are so ignorant.

But in those battles where folks just felt like they should do something, and didnt seek the counsel of the Lord, then God lifted His Hand from them and massive death, casualty and destruction ensued.
My question is are the leaders seeking God's counsel on whether to pull the troops? To date we have 4,000 troops who have died in Iraq.
Now we can say well that wasn't as many as was lost in so and so war.
But it is massive nonetheless.
It is my belief that God consented to Iraq, but He now wants it to end. And no one is listening so now daily we lose lives over there.

Sister, if God was in favor of the war in Iraq then He's in it to the finish. God is not a wishy washy God who changes His mind midstream like us humans do. I was in favor of the Iraq war, at first because of the belief that Saddam had WMDs, then because we were already there and needed to stay long enough for them to establish a new government. Well, we've been there long enough for them to do that and it's time for them to stand or fall on their own, in my opinion.
