How would I get a copy of his altar working seminar? does he have mp3 downloads or a way to order a CD?

Re: Is Jonathan Suber a three-stepper?
I'll tell you all this the last place I heard Pastor Suber was in a UPCI church on New Year's Eve,and He preached One God and Jesus Name about as strong as anybody else I heard, and I saw personally a man get up out of a wheelchair and walk.

They looked at the snake and said, "I command you to die, in Jesus name."
The snake dropped dead. Wherever they were at in their "training" for ministry ahead, God used that to teach them something. It wasn't something he would walk around doing all the time. Just a lesson God allowed to happen that day. I believed he said they were shocked that it actually died! lol
BTW, I should add that they were young boys - 16 or 18 and the conversation was centered on what power they really had with God. When they saw the poisonous snake they both said, "Let's put it to the test." lol Again, I remember him saying they were both shocked that it actually died. (lol)

I love hearing stories like this. We have so much power in God, but few of us actually walk in that power, or even have a strong desire to. I believe God is using people like J Suber to teach and instill faith in His people, to believe Him for what He said He would do, as He prepares His church to go to the next level.
If we spent half as much time talking about standards and using that same time and energy teaching and preaching about the gifts of the Spirit, the Apostolic church would be at a whole other level right now.

Excellent post! Many Apostolic people, including ministry, are afraid fo the power of God and belittle the gifts because they want to justify those gifts not being in operation in their lives, or their churches. It is such a refreshing breeze when you find a true 'spiritual' person of faith who dares to step out in faith and believe as we are commanded to do.

My only disagreement with this post is that I feel that is not teaching about gifts of the Spirit that we are lacking, but the FRUIT of the Spirit. Am I the only one who feels this way?
My pastor is spending a lot of time on this right now, and it seems like it isn't what some people want to hear. They want to be dazzled by the gifts rather than apply the Word to their lives to produce fruit. Anyone else see this trend?

Both, Dizzy, we need both.

Well, I would agree with that.
I guess I am a little fired up right now because a situation that we are facing locally. There is a particular group that is focusing primarily on the gifts, and we have had some people leave to follow this. It is being led by a very unprincipled man, who has proven himself not to be in submission to anyone and involved himself in shady financial dealings, and yet there are people who will follow his ministry strictly because of the use of the gifts. And frankly, the people who are following him are also people who have not shown great examples of Christian character in my dealings with them. I just wonder why it is so hard to find that balance.
