Gotta love those puppies! Your husband won't be upset too long, PO. I have a mini dachshund (4 months old) and she is constantly trying to chew up what ever she can.

She chewed up my cell phone charger last week and I didn't discover it until my cell phone was dead. I had the same outlook as you have had and that was she was a baby and this was just what babies do.

The hours of joy that she has brought to my home was well worth a few chewed up shoes and what nots...
