That is just so stupid, I wonder if she could even find a place of repentance.

So, again, Brother Poe is right - She's an idiot!
Apparently, she did that night. I just hope she doesn't hear his sermon last night.

Why did she? Because the cat was out of the bag and she didn't want anyone to know. Was she really sorry or just caught?

So, what did it prove? That he knew the "exact" sin in her life? Yes, he did. He was just going to let her deal with it until she challenged him.

I know what you are saying, but it was just the way he told it. No, she got the real thing that night from what he told in his story anyway.

Well, I don't know this Brother Poe, but if you are brass and bold enough to challenge a man of God you are on shaky ground to bigin with.

On another aside, I have heard Pastor preach in reffering to me (and others) as a Choleric personality, that to challenge us Cholerics isn't the way to get things accomplished.

There I hijacked the thread!

I know him well enough to know that he isn't going to let a women get in his face.

Also, he told her she better make it to the alter before he did.

So, my question remains - Was she really sorry or just caught?

I hope she felt sorry by the time she got there. Being that he didn't name her, there is no one that could know who she was.

I still think I agree with his assessment of her.

I read the story to Joel before he went to bed. He said, "Did he say that? I'm getting off of work so I can hear him preach." lol!

Well, I'm off to bed also. Night!

Nite!

He sounded sincere in relaying the story of her getting saved. I "think" that was the whole point anyway.

Thank you, my friend. I knew someone would see the deal in it.

The whole point is this - HE DID KNOW WHAT HER SIN WAS and she was an idiot for saying, "I have sin. If you're a prophet tell me what it is."

Oh brother! Now I've heard it all!

She said she hoped he had a "word" for her. I think I did say earlier that he'd tell her what was in her life, but she wanted a word. He GAVE her one.

Well, being I didn't hear it, I can only go by what you first said. It sounds like a malicious challenge and not a "I hope" you have a word for me.

The story was if he was "of God", then she wanted him to come tell her what was in her life and he didn't after many services. Then he whispered to her that if she didn't want him to tell that she was living in an adulterous affair that she better run to the altar. He counted 1-2-3 and whoever got their first would determine if he told the congregation or not.
I'm sorry, Renda. I'm just picturing this women in a bad light after that and because of the other stories he's told us of similar women like that. It's too hilarious the things he does. lol!
