We might not be in this state when he's 21, but no matter, he can still wait!

I'm just glad I don't have to worry about my kid taking his arsenal to school and shooting up the place!! Yikes!

Re: Calling all gun owners

Ahemmmm, my turn...

Remington Model 870 20 gauge pump
Remington Model 1100 12 gauge semi-auto
Browning Bar 30-06 semi-auto
Remington Model 742 .243 semi-auto
Remington .22 bolt action (model unknown- I'm at work and can't look)
TC Black Diamond .50cal muzzleloader
.22 magnum revolver - gut gun (once again, model unknown at present)
PSE Braun Compound bow.
Several hunting knives
A couple pocket knives
Several fillet knives.

And this is just for ME alone.

Theres also a Remington 12 gauge pump that belonged to my uncle that my husband tries to claim.

And then theres my husbands guns and countless knives, swords and medieval stuff.

Of course, you know how it is...

WHATS MINE IS MINE AND WHATS HIS IS MINE!

SO MY LIST COULD BE MUCH MUCH LONGER!

I have a .22 my Dad gave me (insisted that I take!). I don't really know how to shoot it, though. Jeff keeps the bullets in a different place than the gun, and I don't even know where they are, so I don't know how much good it would do if there was an intruder....

As for hunting--I couldn't shoot anything. Not even a frog. Maybe a spider. Okay, once I tried to shoot a snake, but I couldn't hit it, and it was only a few feet from me. LOL! I ended up beating it to death with a shovel.

I am a certified shotgun instructor for 4-H, and a hunter. Our family has a variety, but my personal firearm is a 270 Savage. Both sons and my daughter each have a rifle, my sons both have shotguns, and my oldest son has a muzzle-loader. My hubby of course has a rifle, and I just bought him a Mossberg double barrel (o/u) 12 g.

Nope, just a hunter.

Re: Calling all gun owners

Just acquired another handgun, a Sig Sauer P6. German military and military police sidearm. The owner's manual is entirely in German. The American version is the P225.

Great gun!

Re: Calling all gun owners

I'm so glad my husband doesn't hunt. If he brought home something and I had to skin it and dress it, I would pass out.

No guns in this house!

Re: Calling all gun owners

I don't hunt, not really anyway. If I want some meat to put in the freezer, or make some homemade jerky, I just go to the barn and wait for a deer. One's bound to show up sooner or later.
