I never suggested LC didn't have talent. I believe there were some who made his path smoother sailing. There's nothing wrong with finding favor with the right people.

I don't really think that's what tv1 was referring to, but he can correct me if I'm wrong.
I wouldn't say a "slam", but it read to me like an implication that he only got where he is because people in power did him favors. To me, that's insulting. Maybe I'm just being over-sensitive.
As for comparing him to David Huff...well, look, becoming well-known and "usable" (to churches) is a matter of choices. It's a matter of what avenues you take to get there, and whether you make sure you toe the line. It seems to me that LC has played by the rules, and DH didn't. Not that DH did anything wrong...he just did it differently. His choices led him down a different road. I don't know that I buy into the statement that LC is more successful than DH. I think they are pretty equally successful in different arenas.
