Re: Is Jonathan Suber a three-stepper?

Pastor Suber does indeed preach for UPCI pastors on a fairly regular basis.

I am interested in him because I went with him to India in 96 and I haven't talked with him in about seven years. I think he is a sincere guy, so I wanted to see if he was doing well. By the way I left the movement 7 yrs ago and I am not backsliden. Maybe it is not backsliding when one stops preaching some of the 20th century traditions of men.

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

2CS = 2 Children Syndrome

Symptoms;

* Wife tired and not...er....romantically minded
* Dad tired but still ...er...romantically minded

Effects;

Sufferer looks for someone to take their frustrations out on. Anonymous forums are a good place for this to occur.

"THE prophet of the New Church Order" PLUZ as per another thread here he is not even involved anymore.

If he is backslid then there is no hope for me.

I could only aspire to reach his level of spirituality.
I think there is a problem with this type of thinking. Why do we compare ourselves to others all the time? what you see of him could be an act for all to see. could be he really is spiritual but his walk with God is not yours. Paul's walk with God was not Peter's, nor John's. I know many who have talked about Paul like he was a demi-god because he wrote so many books in the NT. He still was not saved any more or less than Peter, John, Luke, Matthew, or any of the rest including Jesus mothe Mary and she did not even write a book.
I do not even know the man you all are talking about but he very well could be backslide. My father was for 2 years amd still preached sermons that brought the house down. Didn't mean he was saved. Just a good preacher and a really good actor.
