I'm noticing that when in leadership the people expect certain things from you - your manner, carriage, delivery, etc. If you don't deliver than they become disappointed and seem to lose confidence in you.

It is like the Saul thing - they want a king and they want him to look good.

Do you understand where I am coming from on this? I hope some can be candid on this.

Oh Sis, here my hubby is far from being a king and I think Rico might enjoy our non cheer leading services. not saying we don't praise the Lord. It's hard to explain things in Hoonah sorta ya haveta be here kind of thing.

An aspiration and a goal to be more Christ-like yes, but arrived as a destination or state of being I have not.

I'm a Christ follower, but not a Christian. Christian is a term that is too loosely used in today's society, even used by those that are not a Christ follower.
