I don't think so.... I'm good friends with the director and last he told me was they were on for Easter 2008. Also Bro Anthony has up the dates for BOTT because of Messiah.

Interesting. Food doesn't get stuck in my beard. Then again, maybe it's because I learned from a very young age how to actually put the food IN my mouth.

But once it gets beyond that length, the itching stops.

Bwahahaha --

I still have problems with that and I'm in my 30's...

It does. My problem is that mine is a bit spare in areas so I keep it short. I'm thinking about shaving it again. I've had a goatee for several years and the goatee whiskers are darker than the rest of the beard -- which is weird....

Your right about that because that was announced at this years BOTT.

However it changed, because he announced the retirement of Messiah a couple of weeks ago during one of the worship services.

I grew my first beard during my senior year in high school. I had to shave it off when I joined the Navy but soon after I reported to my first ship I was allowed to grow it again but then the Navy did away with beards (because one couldn't get a proper seal when putting on a gas mask). After I left the Navy in 1992, I grew my beard again and kept it ever since, except for a short time around 1997-1998 when I went without one.

There is nothing more "hokey" then portraying an "illustrated sermon" about the life, death and resurrection of our Lord and a fake beard pops off. One of (not the ONLY, but ONE OF) the defining demarkations seperating a man and a woman is God put hair on the face of a man. Jesus Christ himself...had a beard. Let the men grow a beard.

I also find it just odd that he would have to tell every UPC person he came in contact with why he had a beard as if it was equated with his salvation or doctrinal beliefs.
