And to say "Thats a lie" also is not calling someone a liar, but stating that what was said was not true. It is simply disagreeing with what someone has posted.

A real stretch here, Matt.
"I don't believe you" = you are not telling the truth.
"That's a lie" = you have told an untruth.
To disagree with what someone has posted would be to say, "I appreciate your opinion, but my opinion is somewhat different".
When you use the words "Lie" and "don't believe you", that's pretty cut and dried in my book.
But, nonetheless, if the involved parties have worked things out, good for them.
Let's just call a spade a spade, and dispense with the rationalization.
