my oldest daughter is 18 now, she has chosen to wear skirts as her main attire... she just prefers them... she can make that hair of hers look like miss patty pentecost.. I call her that often. I think she just likes to fit in too..and she isn't intimidated by anyone, she has her beliefs and she stands up for them in public school.

I miss your girls and love them very much. Hard to believe they are so grown already!
Becca also isn't intimidated. She just made a portfolio for school about important things in her life. She chose the usual...money, a career, music, hunting and fishing...but she put on one entire side all about church and her youth leader...LadyRev. She also put verses on there that were important to her. I was shocked to read them.
They were all verses about obeying your parents!
Her career teacher asked her about her faith and how important it was. Becca told her that living for God was the most important thing to her and she was actively involved in her church. I was proud of her. She witnesses to kids all the time and isn't ashamed.
I'm proud of her. A year ago she wouldn't clap, sing, and would rather just sit in church. Now, she claps, sings, worships, and is an altar worker. I love it.
