Sister, I am complaining more about how people think than about the avatar being removed. We are constantly being bombarded with sexual imagery in this world we live in. At some point the Church is going to have to learn the meaning of controlling its own flesh, rather than focusing so much on censorship. Everything can't be censored. Even if it could, that still wouldn't deal with the root cause of the problem.

I know of what you speak and have even heard a young lady curse that had no clue she was. Her Dad was a preacher, where she heard the word I don't know, she was actually telling a joke. And she was absolutely mortified when she found out what it meant. That is a lot different than half exposing yourself in the streets which is very common.

Why are people still bringing up the issue of the avatar when I changed it about 24 hours ago when Renda requested me to???
Furthermore, I think it's ridiculous that a person can complain about a non-cleavage bearing cartoon avatar and then turn around and use the offensive, derrogatory term "whipped". I am sure I am not the only one on this form that knows the entirety of that phrase.

And yet you see no problem with a semi pornographic image to some being on an Apostolic forum? Really? It's all their problem?

What was pornographic about it, Sister? Enlighten me. Was it because Wonder Woman was big breasted? Was it because Wonder Woman's costume is too tight? It certainly wasn't because Wonder Woman was showing any cleavage because I know for a fact the image was edited to remove any hint of cleavage. So what part of it was pornographic? I'd really like to know.
