With all due respect, Elder, I think you're confusing "Ex-Pentecostal" with "Ex-standard keeping old time Apostolic".

And all of that could be true and I might even be guilty of saying some of it yet I am still Pentecostal.

Re: Another Anti-Pentecostalism Website
When you feel free yet have the need to hate on where you came from (or where others have went) - I wonder, if that from which you are freed cause you angst, are you really free? I used to be like that (still fight it occasionally) but when I realized that "it" still controlled everything I did (or didn't do) along came the comprehension that I wasn't free at all, just another form of bondage.
It matters not whether one is "ultra-con" or "liberal" if one still worries about what to do (or not to do) that is listed out and lived by others (or ourselves) then we are still legalistic because we are still ticking off the check boxes. Some check them with a "They can do", others check 'em with a "They can't do".

Good post!
What gets old around here is people just assuming because you aren't UPC anymore that you are bitter. Are some bitter - yes, but not EVERYONE!
