My husband runs maybe... once a year... but when he does you can feel the power of God in the room.
I think sometimes when we don't do things ourselves, we have a hard time accepting them in others...

I don't run myself, and I don't like to see someone running around for the sake of running. But when my husband takes off, it's because he can't hold back any longer!

I have three more months to wear the brace on my left leg, but when it is over, I plan on worshipping much more!

IMO. praise is verbal while worship is physical. No, I don't have scripture to back it up, it's just the way I feel.

It's funny how some of you folk that say old time Pentecost
is Judgmental but as soon as someone worships in a way

you condemn others for.

Ah, I see the good old time Pentecost trick to avoid discussion of sacred cows has reared it's head.

It is silly to say that one discussing the merits of a practice is being "judgemental".

Are you "judgmental" when you discuss trends in music in Pentecost?

If you criticize a gospel song for not being scripturally accurate are you being judgmental? No, you are simply pointng out something factual even if it offends people who love that song.

I am not some backseat observer. I have done my share of "shouting" and have run a few times (not many though0.

I believe it is clear that the main mode of praise in Scripture is by ones mouth. Words that exalt God in speaking and also exalting God in word through singing. That is repeatedly demonstrated in the Bible. Shouting in the old time Pentecostal sense is nowhere in Scripture as a mode of praise.
I agree with all that you've said BUT the last sentence. A shout is a shout, whether from the lips of a Jew or a Pentecostal! I think you have issues with the stuff that surrounds the shouting and not the shout itself! LOL

I've always thought running around the church was a guy thing.

NO, I'm fairly open minded when it comes to music

No single definition... there are seven different words used for Praise I believe.. in OT.
I wish I could remember them all.
There were words that simply meant to bow or kneel, and words that meant to shout.
