Yeah, you can't listen long or you'll get "blue,"
but I still like it.

Apparently, there's quite a few Pentecostal athletes out there in the pro ranks. This link has a bunch of them. http://goodnewscafe.net/showthread.php?t=2500

I also remember Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner saying in a magazine interview that he received he baptism of the Holy Ghost at a church a few years back, while he was the quarterback for the St. Louis Rams.
Kurt went to the Gerald's church in St Louis. It is now pastored by Shawn Craig of Phillips, Craig and Dean. Kurt now attends City of Grace Church here in the PHX metro area. That church is pastored by the Crist formerly UPCers from Tulsa. A little background never hurt

Unfortunately, I've heard it myself in the movie "Training Day". I was in the lounge at work a few years back, and Training Day was playing on the screen, and I heard it with my own ears. I was kinda shocked... but then again, for some reason, I kinda wasn't. Oh well.

Now Rico, you know Dolly has spent thousand and thousand of dollars to preserve her youth. Are you saying it has been a waste of money, that she doesn't still look 25?

Another thing, just because you can sing about Jesus and as they say be under the anointing, and still not know who Jesus is or have a personal relationship with him. That sure blows a theory of some folks. That's like Charasmatics, The Bible does say where two or three are joined togather in my name, I will be in the midst of them, but it does not mean he approves of the things they believe in.

No. I am saying the lady in that video doesn't look like she really is Dolly Parton, even back when Dolly was younger. Compare the face of the woman in that video to the one of Dolly in the other video and there is a big difference.

JTULLOCK,

I couldn't find a website for this City of Grace Church in the Phoenix area. Do you know their webiste and if so can you post a link?

Tell me more about the exUPC pastors. How long have they been gone from the Ark?

Formerly UPC'ers, now Trinitarian.
Why am I not surprised?

Makes me wonder if he's one of those guys who now blends both formulas (such as "in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name" ....or...

.. "in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, which is Jesus")

Attended a large UPC church 30+ years ago and the pastor always baptized that way.......in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, which is Jesus. His name is recognizable and he wrote articles for UPC publications.

The way he explains it (so I've heard) is that he is playing a role that isn't him. I couldn't do it though, no matter what I was playing. That's one thing I always admired about the twins who played Tia & Tamara - I think that was their names on the show - they always refused to do a script with foul language. I hope they have stuck to that as they have gotten older.
