I'm curious. What was the age of the disciples when Jesus picked them to be the leaders of his new church? If they were the same age as Jesus, they were in their early 30s. Did he pick older disciples because of their wisdom?

Many 30-somethings are already preaching, pastoring, or are in leadership positions in churches, so what is your point exactly?
Is anyone holding down the 30-somethings? And aren't they free to start up new churches if the Lord wills? Should a 55 year old pastor resign and let his youth pastor take over, just so we can have some "new, young blood" running the church?
