Does this statement bother anyone when it is said from the pulpit or elsewhere?
I am just curious because to me it seems like bragging and furthermore, it also seems like it is somehow inside information only for those who are ON the inside...
You may THINK you know Jesus, but I know who Jesus REALLY is.
If you REALLY know who Jesus is, you wouldn't be bragging.
I don't like this statement, why glorify the flesh instead of the Lord Jesus?
I think I see what you're saying, but I'm still really glad I know who Jesus is. When I say that (and I do say it, all the time) it's not said in a bragging way... it's said in a completely thankful that I know Him way.
I'm even more thankful He knows me!

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
