Hey, if you are comfortable with it go for it. I'm not, but don't condemn me for doing things the Bible clearly makes no mention of.

- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

well Prax, its a little early to figure out if you are chumming the waters or really asking....
I'll think on those things which are good and answer honestly, according to the witness in my own spirit:
the sounding or written use of the word JEEEZ is a sad acknowledgement of immaturity attempting to communicate.
There is probably a component of genuine ignorance in the mix, but really, can't we give some thought to the words and sounds the proceed forth from the abundance of our hearts?
[edit] Go ahead Mark and remind me of my GREAT HOLINESS and your desire for my prayers....

Mark, I have used the OMG term a few times myself, so I can't really say much about it to you. I have always thought it as borderline though - it is not "cussing" or damning God (as if we could) but it may be vain nevertheless.
I have been amazed to hear preachers use it over the pulpit.
Back to the first post, how do YOU feel about the video??

Mark, you're not being very logical. It's one of the Ten Commandments!!!!! LOL!!!
Don't take the "Lord's name" in vain. Back before the name (Jesus) was known, what do you think constituted the "Lord's name?"
We have the same rule in our house. I've broken it a few times...only to have my children immediately put me in my place.

OT is not all law, about that you are very wrong.
Any Scripture about dress is principle based, this stands to reason because what people wore changed over the millenniums that have passed. So if we want to talk about principles that's fine but the Bible doesn't tell us how to dress.

I think the guy is a false prophet. I recently read a comment
by him where he stated that William Brnham's angel was helping
him with his ministry or something to that effect.
That was enough for me !

Since gas prices are so high, thought I would visit here for my summer vacation.
Not sure how long I'll stay.
