Baxter is a great guy, but this sensationalism needs to stop.
His Endtime magazine is an embarrassment. It's a Pentecostal National Enquirer.
Since the turn of the century, we have seen many "prophecy" gurus go off the deep end.
Some to preterism. Others to wild predictions of "could this be's?"
Could this be the second seal?
Could this be the fifteenth horse?
Could this be THE peace treaty?
Pardon me, but I think we will ALL realize it when these events happen.
This is what happens when we put all of our eggs in one basket.
While it is true that over one third of Holy Writ is prophetic in nature, prophecy is not the main focus of the Word.
That focus is still, after all of these years, redemption.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
Why is that not enough?
And why does Baxter never lead folks to
Acts 2:38 on his radio broadcast?
