That is so true. There are also many countries where once flooded out and having your home destroyed, you can't simply file an insurance claim and be restored. It is important to count our blessings.

You're right about that. I babysit for a woman who works for one of the local insurance agencies. She said today when she picked up her kids that her phone had been ringing non-stop all day with people filing claims for flood coverage. Imagine what they'd have if they didn't have that coverage.
