Do you read the news? There are forest fires in Colorado every year, maybe not on the same scale as California, but if you have forests, you have forest fires. 2002 was a really bad year for Colorado, but the snow pack is higher this year, and things haven't been bad yet.

Our municipality bans fireworks that explode or leave the ground, but the rest are legal.
