DA is not saying what you just said. There is a specific doctrine, not about women should have long uncut hair, BUT that a womans uncut hair gives her POWER..supernatural power and power OVER angels and gives her and her family special protection...not because of faith in Christ...not because of obedience....but because she did not cut her hair. That is unbiblical

Prax, I'm just saying that I don't belive anyone is saying that it is an "either or" proposition. There is noone saying that you don't have to have faith in Christ and be obedient to the Word of God...as long as you don't cut your hair. It is not a mutually exclusive deal. Most people that I have heard teach it actually include hair
in obedience to God and the Word of God. All I'm saying is that it is not as ridiculous as some would make it sound given that there is a significance specifically spoken of in the Bible. It is certainly something that could use respectful and prayerful consideration.
And I don't see how it could be seen as replacing the power of God...any more than obedience to anything that God laid out in the Old or New Testament would be.
