Re: Dan's Agenda

Hmmm . . . all this sounds very mystical to me. Also reminds me of the church I came out of, if it feels good and you enjoy it, it must be bad.

Another thing, what type of moves of God are you trying to have at your church. Are you trying to hype folks up or something?

I gladly played along, but I'm afraid not much was accomplished except your continual distortions of the subject.

Re: Dan's Agenda

I would be more concerned if a spouse was so involved in Church activities that they had no time or energy to be w/ their mate ... or felt that "activities" for God was more important than making sure their marraige was sound on all levels ... including physically.

DM

Ever get aggravated at your wife or children on the way to church?

Ever have a driver cut you off on your way to speak?

Ever have a saint meet in the hallway to unload their feelings about you right before you speak?

Just not buying your no relations before service being a hinderance - - just silly.

Re: Dan's Agenda

We briefly had a pastor who taught this junk. I say briefly because we lasted less than one service once he started.
I scanned in and posted the study documents he handed out with all the scripture and semi-logic he used to push this particular agenda. It is in a thread in the Deep Water section somewhere.

Really! I think you may have hit on my problem. I have never been able to do all the spiritual stuff that other folks did at my UPC church. Now I understand what the problem is.

So, what about kissing or making out. Is this allowed? Also, how long before service can I do the deed, is something like 12 hours enough or what.
