Yes, the Tommy Tenney pulpit story was a good story. TT was preaching a revival and it was said that the Spirit of God was so prevalent in those services that TT didn't preach many nights.
In one meeting, TT and RH were both sitting on the front row when RH tried to get TT to go to the pulpit and speak. TT didn't feel that he should at that moment, so RH went up there and began to speak....when...BAM!!!! The pulpit was split in two and RH was knocked back 10 feet flat on his back flopping like a fish out of water.
They ended up carrying RH out of the church, because he was slain in the Spirit for hours that day. I had visited CT just a couple of weeks afterward and heard RH speak of what happened during that meeting first hand.
Interesting...

A pastor's wife in TX that knew the people over that ministry
said they counceled a lot of young men who ended up in that
life and with AIDS who claimed they were turned out by preachers
at various events such as camp meetings, conferences, revivals.
Also, some folks on the right believe that incident was a sign
of judgment for what they did to Bro Free and for the direction
they took from what Bro Bean use to preach there
