If your response was a veiled ref to abortion, then as a Christian, the only way I could rationalize abortion is to save the life of the mother.

If your children turn out to be brats, you would have no one to blame but yourself. Why would you refer to an unborn child of yours as a brat? That doesn't make sense to me. I can understand the logic behind your wife not dying, but the brat comment doesn't compute. 'Splain please.
It was just a way of saying child, nothing more meant. By using a coarse decription of the unborn child, I avoid all of the emotional drama associated with such a terrible situation. By the way, not making light of that situation as it does happen. When it happens, the life of the mother is more important than that of the unborn amalgamtion of seed and egg.

Thanks. I thought you had lost your mind for a minute. LOL I was thinking to myself, "How could anyone refer to an unborn child of theirs as a brat? They usually don't get into the brat stage until they're two, and don't stay there if you teach them right."
