Pit boss or security manager for Ceasers Palace or the Venetian hotel or some other casino....
How long do you think the average new saint in any of the above jobs, or countless others, would have to switch professions or leave the church? <---Said somewhat TIC, but do you think that the new saint would HAVE to switch professions?
Whatever the occupation, if the pastor objects he should not receive the tithes from that occupation.

Ok, interesting....
So if a church member sells a big screen TV should the member pay tithes on it (or should he not sell it at all, instead destroy it)... Should the pastor take the tithes???
Philosophy... Interesting

The defense of abortion, on a "Christian" web site, by a person who has no children and no facts.
I have a conviction. That conviction is that I will love my wife more than I love my children-- not that I won't love my children, just I will love my wife more.
I have another conviction, my wife will always be of more "value" than an unborn child-- not that I won't love the unborn, just I will always love my wife more.
I believe I have a scriptural basis for this conviction. Maybe it will change when I become a Dad, but I doubt it. If I have to lay down my life for my child or for my wife, I will choose my wife, every time.
Hopefully, neither you or I will be put in such a predicament.

This isn't a debate about abortion, just a question. Would your wife feel that way?
I am not sure about how she will feel as I have not met her yet. But I do know how I feel about this-- I will love my wife more than my very own life, more than our children, more than anyone or anything, except not more than GOD.
