I've felt unwelcome from the very start, I'm conservative and have stated that from the beginning.

I don't enjoy Inane Babblings when it comes to salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and what it takes to be saved and the Doctrine in which we live by, and there is to much of that going on on this forum Sometimes I feel as though it is dangerous, and I should avoid coming here altogether. Just my opinion.

And no Bro. E, I think you need to stay.

I will have to add Amen to your thoughts.

Some will ask,"then why come back"...because we can.

I return to keep up with a few friends, and I do enjoy reading posts by Sis Falla, Bro Epley, PO, Sis Alvear, St Matthew, and St Mark.

Re: Am I being asked to leave?

Speaking as an owner of this forum, I do NOT want you to leave Bro Epley. You are very much welcome here.

I'm tired of seeing/hearing of posts where members are telling others that they should go find another forum. Just consider the source, and let it go. People have a right to make up their own minds whether they choose to post here or not.

The owners and admins of this forum are NOT telling anyone to leave.

Re: Am I being asked to leave?

I think the idea of Elder Epley leaving is plain silly. I am not going to repeat for the bazillionth time my thoughts on the subject of diverse opinions on the forum but it is well known that I desire a forum with members representing the wide sprectrum of Oneness Pentecostal thought (except those in outright delusion like Branhamites or serpent seed doctrine folks).

For anybody to suggest Elder Epley leave I would suggest to them they most likely are not worthy of tying his shoe laces.

Ultra conservative voices have always been welcome as long as they were not voices of hate and personal attacks.

There have always been a few jerks of various viewpoints I wish would leave on their own and stay gone but they never seem to do so under their own power!!

Folks like people who self rightously proclaim that God has left the forum, etc but continue to post themselves the instant they serve out their latest ban from unchristian like posting.

St. Mark is just up to his usual mischief of stirring the pot and trying to provoke people to leave or say and do things he wants them to do.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

UH??? Who do I want to stay or leave? and what are
the things I want others to do ?

I certainly Don't want Epley to leave but their has got
to be some reasons that he feels this way besides posters
that have tried to run him off. could it be that he is being
persecuted by forces from the outside ??????????????????

No worries. I am not a Lutheran. You can't believe everything our Catholic friend, Steve, says.

Re: Am I being asked to leave?

I think Elder Epley's connections to those outside his paradigm from this forum and its predecessors have hurt him in real life.

Some silly people not mature enough to understand that having lunch with a lib or your picture taken with one doesn't mean you are compromising your beliefs can create trouble.

For that reason and that reason alone I would not have blamed him for leaving AFF. I think it is to his credit he had not let that kind of outside ridicule or criticism determine his course of action like some other ultra cons have.
