Just be careful whilst crying that you do not allow tears to drip on your keyboard and short it out, because then you'll have no outlet for your "anger and venom" and your head will explode.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Why are you stuck in the mindset that I'm angry here? The posts have been rather staccato in nature and don't have all of the adverbs in them that might convey more feeling - but anger? Hardly.

I wonder why you don't see NITW's posts as having the venom and bitterness that I see in them. Is it because he constantly protests that he is not bitter that you believe him to be so? I think he doth protest too much.

And how about addressing the questions? The "UC" side still condemns "short pants" but they haven't given a single reason why. This is such a ridiculous issue that it really does make me laugh.

Pel, chill out, I'm on your side here!

I'm being facetious.......I'm referring to NITW's posts about the "anger and venom" spewing out of yours and Prax's heads........

Read my responses to NITW........

In which case I apologize to the good Brother Phelps. My anger and mirth clouded my vision of your wit. I am "chill" - clueless as to your intentions until now - but chill.

No problem, my wit, or lack thereof, may not have been as sharp as it should have been!

I'll have to say one thing, though. It's one thing to think you're clever and toss one here and there. It's another thing entirely to read a whole thread of this length with this kind of thing going on.

In no way am I tooting my horn, I have no reason to do that. But this stuff this guy is saying, or the way he is saying it sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard, squeaky breaks, like that high pitched whine when a fluorescent light ballast is going bad...ugh

I'm stuck at work on the Lord's Day today so my train of thought is like that little engine trying to chug its way up the hill. "I think I can, I think I can..." Just 4 more hours!
