We've only had one home meeting with the other family so far. My wife and I talked about this last night, and we've decided to make it a weekly thing we do, whether we can meet with the other family or not. I am really trying to avoid the whole becoming a preacher thing, in case you can't tell. lol I tried that and living in a glass house didn't suit me well. I have, however, been trying to figure out a way to get into the local jail, if possible. They generally require some sort of official sanction from a religious org. before they will let you in. The ALJC offers a chaplain certification program, but I don't really know exactly how I feel about the whole thing, to be honest with you. I am still trying to get some things worked out in my head and heart over the prison ministry thing.

So, in a nutshell, I am kinda tip toeing around some issues. I definitely feel the home meetings is something the Lord wants for us to do, and I feel led to go back into prison ministry, but I am having problems embracing it. Pray for me that I will know the will of God in these matters.
