Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I pray that I can be conservative about many things yet still be kind.
In the long lists of do´s and don´t maybe we could sum it up with now abideth faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love...
While I too have my lists I hope LOVE is stamped over ever thing I do and say...and when I die I hope the preacher can honestly say, "Sister Alvear loved..."
I might not agree with everybody but I can love everybody. That is what will make me HIS disciple...

I feel like on many things I have strong convictions...I don´t always get up and shout them ( I am not the pastor) but I do my best to live what I believe and believe what I live...

2. tending to preserve established traditions or institutions and to resist or oppose any changes in these conservative politics, conservative art
3. of or characteristic of a conservative
4. designating or of the major political party of Great Britain or the similar one in Canada that is characterized by conservative positions on social and economic issues
5. ☆ moderate; cautious; safe a conservative estimate
6. JUDAISM designating or of a movement that accepts traditional forms and religious ritual that have been adapted to modern life with moderation and flexibility

This is good. But as far as the traditions go the problem is is that we have MANY traditions that we do not all hold equally and the other problem is as a movement we've already gotten rid of some traditions like not wearing the color red etc etc
