You are reminding me of our 4th of July weekend. My FIL drove down for the weekend to take a road trip in his new car. During a conversation, I don't know what my husband was doing this time, but I told my FIL, "Could you take him back home with you?"

He said, "Sorry, you have to keep him. The warranty has expired."

I said, "Well, let me check the warranty papers just to make sure."

Sure enough - expired!!
