My Mama Nell made the best fried chicken and cat-head biscuits I have ever eaten! She would take a paper bag and fill it with flour and special seasoning (heehee) and place her chicken in the bag and shake it up! What came out of that bag was sprinkled with love and the makings of the best tasting chicken in Texas!
I asked her one time why her chicken was the best and she said, "You have to cook the chicken on low and only flip it once on each side".
I sure wish I could sit down with her once again and share a plate of her fried chicken.

The chicken at the Bavarian Inn at Frankenmuth, Michigan is pretty good stuff.
And at the Barn Restaurant at Sauder's Museum in Archbold, Ohio they make fried chicken worth dying for.
We have a restaurant/bar/grill here called the Kold Keg that makes awesome broasted chicken. absolutely the best of anyone!

This is how I cook Fried Chicken. Now my momma she made the BEST biscuits! and Southern/Smothered fried chicken in the WORLD ! 
I rarely fry anything anymore.

i hate eating fried chicken from any other place than home. I had it a few times and it was not done. I am almost to the point I do not want it on the bone any more. I am getting really picky about my chicken. I have to free range and organic any more. The rest is just tastless.
