I am POOPED. No pun intended, which the following tale will entail.
Remember the 8 puppies? Today they are poopy puppies. I went in to check on them a little bit ago...and ONE of them (haven't figured out which one) has diarrhea. YES, you read that right, DIARRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!
Think about it. 1 puppy has it, all of them step in it, GAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, so I've bleached about everything possible, and I can STILL SMELL IT!
I put the puppies outside. *gag*
While washing the rugs, I sprayed their poopy feet down with the hose, not caring at all that it was COLD WATER!!!!
Now to the kids: My mother is gone on vacation. What does that have to do with the price of gold in China, you ask? Well, apparently my children are actually messy, messy, children, and my mother picks up after them all the time, and I just DO NOT NOTICE!!!
Because. MY HOUSE IS MESS!!! There are PILLOWS all OVER THE living room FLOOR. Here I thought we had a Grandma in the house, and apparently she is actually a live-in NANNY!!!
The middle bedroom, there are books everywhere, blankets everywhere, toys EVERY-WHERE!!!!!
My children, when asked to clean up the mess, are wandering around picking up one little thing here and there, looking confused, and asking me where to put it. OBVIOUSLY, I am going to have to clean this myself, but Equally Obviously, THEY need to learn how to put a few things away? How did I miss this glaring deficit in their upbringing?
My mother is going to have to STOP cleaning up. Period. When she gets back, there is going to be a talk about how grandchildren need to put away their own clothes and make their own beds. I am starting to suspect that maybe she was EVEN DOING THEIR CHORES!!!!
And I, I am exhausted, and feeling VERY cranky. I am a FAILURE as a mother and Foster Puppy Mom.
And it's making me feel better to temporarily blame my mother, so LEAVE ME ALONE!
Okay. Do you have any THOUGHTS? Maybe I need a or two.

Re: Is it a sin to be upset with kids and puppies?
if it makes you feel anybetter, last night I looked at my son (after fixing a clock he had broken for the upteenth time) and told him if he touched it ONE MORE TIME I was going to spank his hiney and it would HURT REALLY BAD!
I picked up his left hand, and said "If this hand touches this clock I will spank you really hard"
then I picked up his right hand and repeated.
then I made him repeat to me NO TOUCH!
i was not happy.

There you go. I gave you five
Just one of those days. If it makes you feel any better. I have a 85 pound puppy that just got over a bout of diarrhea, so you might still be getting off easy with the real little puppies.

Well, I am sitting as calmly as possible at the dining room table, (obviously typing) and when Jeff gets home, I'm going to let the Gestapo kick in while I escape to the grocery store.
I am SO upset!!!!! Irrationally, maybe.
