My mother made mush a time or two. She was a great cook. She just wanted us (we kids) to have variety. I think she talked about eating it as a child.

We had it fried with syrup.
It's not bad, but I'll confess I've never made it.

SCRAPPLE is GROSS
You can like it all you want bro but that stuff is nasty. As bad as Head Cheese, or chitterlings/chitlins. I think I am going to.......
