Thanks for understanding. It is not about being a coward as others have said. I will still voice my opinions and concerns openly and honestly, but I don't feel everyone needs to know who I am.
Prax you know who comes to mind here? Do you remember about a month ago and it slips my mind who the poster was... but do you all remember someone coming in and demanding we tell them who we were and where we went to church??? Wonder if this is one in the same??

to whomever started this thread, your info wasnt something I cared to commit to memory..but do you have any common sense at all? Any concept of the magnitude of the internet? How asinine it would be for folks to share their personal info online? If you cant discuss your opinions with others without knowing their details....well, you have issues IMO
If you need to know who someone is, if you think their online anonimity is cowardice, you need to spend more time on your knees and in prayer readjusting your views on things.
If you have issues, start at home to correct them..leave the world at large alone.
And then there are people like you... Hmm... well, i know of someone who is on this htread that went and checked out someone's IP Address, so ask him about privacy! I haven't done that, but remember there are people out there who don't even regard that policy! At least I'm asking it in a civil manner instead of looking you up! And why do you guys keep saying that I said that I called you a coward for online anymonity??????????????? I said if you are hiding behind your name! As in making comments and not taking accountability for it! And your personal info? Like your name and where your from? You don't even have to put the city, like some are! On top of that, can your IP address not tell EXACTLY where you are coming from? But, maybe you have the issues...

I don't mind people knowing my name. I don't go to a Oneness Pentecostal church and my pastor knows my background so don't bother trying to tattle on me for anything I say.
If someone wishes to remain anonymous here, I have no problem with that.
Some are from controlling (and maybe even abusive churches) and do not want their pastor knowing what they really think or that they might be associating (even online) with folks who are less than loyal, holy and completely in line with what their pastor allows them to do and think. Others may be afraid to express opinions if they thought their "friends" and "associates" would look at them as compromisers or "charismatics" if they express an original opinion that does not adhere to the "party line." Some are just paranoid of "Big Brother."
AND SHAME ON SOMEBODY WHO DOES!! That isn't the point of this also! But good post!

Actually, I don't give my name on public forums, because I have a young family... I'm not worried about "big brother" looking over my shoulder because no matter what my views, I try to use common sense and wisdom so I don't have to be ashamed of anything I say or post.
