Very good read. The problem is most have a improper paradigm. Instead of understanding the Bible from a view point of the past to then. We treat the Bible with a backwards view while trying to force today's paradigm into that culture. It's doesn't work and so many things have been distorted that we commonly accept that would not have been accepted then. Sad but true. Get a book called Fossilized Customs by Lew White. It is very good.
