Every 3-4 years my sister rents a home in Italy for a month or two. They alternate the North to the south. We're usually the only Americans in town and it's an interesting experience. I love their veggies/ fruit/ bread and cheese and don't like their meat at all....except for the cured stuff which I'm convinced will be in heaven.

Italy is a great place to vacation......the beaches in northern Italy are almost unmatched, IMO.

My Husband spent 6 weeks doing an international course in Strausbourg (sp?) in '05.. I would have gone except for these two little people who keep following me around calling me, "Mom"!
But the next time, it will be both of us, and he won't have hundreds of pages to read every night!

Sam's Club does not bag your purchases for you. Save-a-lot used to do it that way, but they now bag the groceries.

I agree. I'm not a tree hugger, but I do think we should be responsible, and all those wasted plastic bags--which don't break down like other waste--seems very irresponsible.
