One of the things that killed me, was seeing what was done to the kids (by the 'saints').
The 'saints' kids were told by the pastor to have NOTHING to do with them, and so they literally lost every friend they had ever grown up with. Even adults would make a point of walking the other way in the grocery store.
It was enough to make your heart ache. Neither one of them are really living for God today.

My best friend left a UPC church and was treated the same way, it was unbelievable to me. I wasn't raised that way, and I cannot even imagine any way that it could be justifiable, unless the person was just an absolute devil, which, how often is that
really the case??
