And it wasn't just the UPCers or Apostolics that thought the end of the world was near. I remember hearing about a Baptist pastor in Arizona who told his flock to sell their things and wait for Christ on a certain date.

Well, seems that he only pastored stupid people, cause they did it.

Of course, he lost his church and his flock and had several lawsuits against him...
