When we go to bed at night, I flip on my bedlight, grab whatever book I happen to be reading at the moment, and give Walt a backrub while I read my book. Then he does the same for me. That's our regular nightly ritual.
Nothing can put me to sleep better than that. Believe me, when Walt was in the ICU and then in the nursing home, it was harder than I ever thought it could be to go to sleep because he wasn't there to do our nightly backrubs
